Carmen Estrada, Director

Director, Carmen Estrada was born in Cuba and raised in South Miami Beach and attended Miami Beach Senior High School.  She speaks both English and Spanish fluently and some Italian and Portuguese.  She was introduced to the Arts at an early age due to her mother’s influence who was an artist herself.  She briefly attended FIU where she took Creative Writing and Introduction to Film Art.  She is now a second year film student at Miami Dade College North Campus and will be graduating next year in May.  She has made two short films in collaboration with her fellow students “Evil Art” and “The Waiting Room”.  She participated in last year’s Miami International Film Festival as a camerawoman.
