Shawn Parker, Director

Director, Shawn Parker, is the oldest of three children. He attended Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.  Shawn has held various jobs in Information Technology including teaching and hold several certifications from Microsoft, Novell and Apple. He now lives in Miami Beach and is a Network Engineer for Uptime Technologies. Shawn actively participated in Running, Stair Climbs and Triathlon. He is a Spinning Instructor and Pilates Trainer for Sanctuary 7 in Miami. He recently climbed the Sears Tower in Chicago ( 105  floors ) in 19 minutes and finished his first Half Marathon. Shawn loves to get people involved in athletic events because when it is fun, it is not exercise.?He especially participates in events that raise money to raise money for Cancer research in honor of his mother, Marjorie. He enjoys meeting new people and learning about their lives and customs.?He recently was selected to participate in Rotary District 6990 Southern Florida’s Group Study Exchange program to Argentina. Upon returning from his trip he joined the Miami Beach Rotary Club were he is now President – Elect for 2008-2009.
